슬픔과 기쁨은 따로일 수가 없고, 행복과 불행 또한 분리될 수 없다. 
슬픔과 불행이 있다는 것은 숨겨진 행복이 존재함을 알리는 것이며,
희망의 오아시스가 있음을 알리는 예고편이기도 하다.
우리의 일상은 희노애락이 교차하는 삶이지만, 
조합, 그 속살 안에는 생명이 움틈을 엿볼 수 있다.

연기(煙氣)가 주는 생명력.. 
부드러운 연기의 음율을 탄 여인의 모습이 투영된다. 
연기를 통해 거룩한 여인인 어머니의 모습을 표현했다. 
보잘 것 없는 기체로만 생각했던 연기에서도 비너스는 탄생한다.

I expressed the image of my mother, a holy woman, through smoke.

A03-20 소망의 어린양
맑고 순수함으로 세상을 바라보는 어린양
어린양 옆에 있기만 해도 
꽃은 피어나고 향기로움으로 물들여진다.
어둠속 너머 한 줄기 빛 같은 어린양의 모습은
외롭고 가난한 이들에게는
더없는 위로와 위안이 되고 있다.
한 마리의 어린양을 통해
눈물과 아픔의 세상이
평화롭고 기쁨이 가득한 세상으로 변화하리라는
작은 소망을 가져본다.

무더운 여름을 이겨내어서인지 사람들의 사랑을 많이 받는 칼랑코에

꽃봉오리 안 주홍색 꽃잎이 햇살받고 복스럽게 피어났구나.
건강한 잎들 덕분에 
네 옆에 있으면 나도 행복해지는 것 같아.

인간이 겪어야 하는 불행은 무엇인가? 
전쟁이 계속 될지라도

오줌싸개 키를 덮어쓰고
이웃집에 소금을 받으러 가곤 했지요. 
창피한 내 마음
꽃들도 오줌 누는 내 모습 보고
얼굴이 바알갛게 되었지요.
